On Wooden Wednesday this week we are very excited to be giving away a Brio train set. Children love wooden train sets and the Brio My First Battery Operated Train Set is a perfect starter set for children aged around 18 months and over.
Children adore this delightful train set which has a battery powered engine that pulls three colourful wagons around the track. They particularly enjoy seeing the train pass under the mountain via the very exciting tunnel. This starter set comes with two track end guide pieces for wheeling the trains on and off the track.
Parents will be pleased to note that this set is fully compatible with all Brio wooden train sets (as well as most other wooden sets) which means that as the kids grow, so will the train set!
How to enter
All competition entries must be submitted as comments underneath this blog article. You must answer the question below and also tell us what is your favourite Brio train or train set.
Question: what comes next in the following sequence? Umberleigh, Portsmouth Arms, Kings Nympton...
Clue: we’re going to Exeter.
Conditions of entry
We will accept one entry per household and can only deliver the prize to UK addresses. The competition is open until 9am on Thursday 10th May.
In the event of us receiving more than one correct entry, we will pick a winner at random. The winner will be announced on this blog after 9am tomorrow (Thursday 10th May).

As my boys are all grown up I am out of touch with the range available atm - was surprised to see battery operated one! They have however stood the test of time haven't they unlike so many faddy expensive toys! So with my hand on my heart I cannot specify a favourite. This however would be a lovely present for my 18 month old Granddaughter.
Thank you for running competition!
