In this week’s Wooden Wednesday competition we are celebrating the wonderful variety of play food available from one of our favourite toy makers, Le Toy Van. Parents and children across the United Kingdom have fallen in love with the stylish and distinctive Honeybake range of toy kitchen accessories and play food which combines imaginative and attractive design with entertaining and educational features. The more recent Honeybee range, which includes a magnificent market stall and beautiful wooden crates of luscious pretend food, is proving equally popular and we look forward to even more additions to the Le Toy Van stable.
The recent renaissance in baking and home crafts has been reflected in the increasing availability and popularity in play baking and cookery sets. The Honeybake Mixer Set is a fine example of the type of wooden baking toys that are thrilling children and grownups. This beautiful set consists of a very convincing food mixer (with three settings) with mixing bowl and wooden packs of flour, sugar and milk.
There is even an egg to crack into your mix! If these fabulous toys aren’t a recipe for fun and learning, then we don’t know what is and to show you just how much we love this toy we have decided to give one away in this week’s competition. And entering couldn’t be easier:
To enter this week’s competition tell us something you could make using the any or all of the four ingredients which feature in the Honeybake Mixer Set: flour, eggs, sugar and milk. We will pick a winner at random from all qualifying entries.
How to Enter
1. Click the Facebook ‘like’ button at the top of this page. (Don't worry if you don't have a Facebook account. You can skip this part.)
2. Place your entry as a comment under this blog article.
A winner will be picked at random from all correct entries.
We will accept only one entry per UK household. (The prize can only be delivered to an address in the United Kingdom.)
The result will be announced on this blog shortly after entries close and the judges’ decision will be final.
Please note: each entry has to be approved before it is uploaded to this page. There may be a delay before you can see your entry.
*Competition opens Wednesday 22nd May and closes at 10am on Thursday 23rd May.
