WoodenToyShop headquarters is awash with anticipation and excitement this week as we welcome the arrival of some utterly fabulous new Janod wooden toys. We are so excited that we feel it is only fair to tell you about these lovely new additions to our store.
First up is the gorgeous Janod Pink Maxi Cooker which is a beautiful companion to the Maxi Cooker and My Own Kitchen. The Pink Maxi Cooker has been painted in bold pink, silver/chrome and black, has a shiny silver sink with mixer tap, two hobs with control buttons, a split level oven, rear shelving and illustrated splash back. Three magnetic utensils, two saucepans and an oven glove complete this lovely play kitchen which even has a clock for a little bit of education during play time!

Next up we have the Janod Portable Bakery, which will appeal to all bread, patisserie and cake lovers – and who doesn’t love one or all of those three? This beautiful portable wooden shop is finished in chocolate brown and smooth natural wood and has a fabric awning that rolls down completely when it’s time to shut the shop. Lots of tempting wooden pastries, bread and cakes sit on the shelves along with two golden cake boxes for wrapping up the tasty treats. This lovely market stall also has a chalkboard back and three mini price boards, all of which can be filled in using one of the coloured chalks provided. You could even write up your opening and closing times!

Continuing with the play food theme, the Janod Magnetic BBQ Trolley is a brilliant combination of baby walker and toy food set. This colourful wooden trolley comes with two large barbecue utensils, lots of pretend barbecue food and plenty of space for carrying other favourite toys around. We’ve already had some great feedback about this toy, which we’re sure will prove one of our most popular summer purchases.
The Janod BBQ Set is a perfect companion to the trolley. If you have more than one junior chef and want to avoid skirmishes around the pretend barbecue, this lovely set is just the ticket. In addition to the wooden barbecue grill, food and kebab skewer, this set can be turned upside down to form a hob for cooking with the frying pan and wooden egg provided. There’s plenty of fun to be had with this cracking mini barbecue!
If you have someone at home who can’t get enough construction toys and loves diggers, dumpers and rollers, the Janod Roadwork Centre would make a very popular addition to the nursery. This deluxe toy garage features a working crane and lift, ramp, traffic cones and barriers, a bulldozer, dumper truck and digger. There are also plenty of go faster stripes and stickers to make this brilliant toy even more exciting!
Now that the sun is shining, how about a spot of croquet on the lawn? The Janod 6 Player Croquet Set has enough mallets, balls, hoops and staves for a fun afternoon for all the family. It comes in a lovely wooden trolley and a bucket load of fun!
