As September approaches we have been reviewing our toy selection ahead of the busy Christmas period and speaking of planning, we thought it was about time we celebrated Plan Toys once more with a quick list of five of our favourites from our friends at Plan.
Plan Toys Punch and Drop: some toys need very little description or justification; sometimes the photo says more than words. This wonderfully simple toy is perfect for little ones who are beginning to use their hands to pick things up and who love banging anything that comes to hand! Little babies will love grabbing the coloured balls, fitting them into the holes then giving them a good old bash with the hammer. Absolutely brilliant!
Plan Toys Dancing Alligator: this toy is an award winner and it’s easy to see why. Children love pulling this cute alligator along. He smiles up at his young owner and clicks and clacks as he moves along the floor. It’s colourful, it’s noisy and you can take it anywhere. A winner!
Plan Toys Breakfast Menu: like so much of the fabulous play food we have in store, you’ll have to look twice at this magnificent breakfast set. Served on a very handy wooden tray, this full breakfast comprises a rasher of bacon, a sausage, fried egg, two slices of toast, cheese and a crusty bread roll. Of course, we couldn’t forget seasoning so there is also a salt and pepper set to delight your little chef!
Plan Toys Activity Clock: what a clever toy! This ingenious toy clock matches time telling skills with learning how to plan. The lovely wooden clock comes with fully moveable hands which add fun and interactivity to learning. Nine basic activity cards also come with this set (plus three blanks), each of which can be slotted in to the top of the clock and matched with a specific time. Tea time at 5 o’clock? Check. Bath time at 6? Check. Bed time at 7? Check. Combining learning with daily activities is a Plan Toys stroke of genius!
Plan Toys Tori Rocking Horse: nowadays rocking horses come in all shapes and sizes. This gorgeous Tori rocking horse is a perfect first rocking horse for children of around two years and upwards. The simple construction works wonderfully with the natural wood to produce a toy which will encourage imaginative play, help burn off excess energy and promote physical development. This one will be a firm favourite in no time!
