  • Baby Walkers - Learning to Walk and much more!

    baby walker

In the first months of your new little bundle of joy's life, it seems completely unbelievable that one day they will be learning to walk. When they're lying in their cot or baby gym, the days of them beginning to even crawl seem so far away. However, soon they begin to learn to roll around and become more and more mobile. Then, to parents' utter amazement, they suddenly show signs of starting to crawl. In no time they're bombing around and are a joy to behold, as well as a hazard as those stairs suddenly become a recipe for lots of bumps and bruises.

Crawling soon leads to your little ones being inquisitive about learning to walk and it's at this stage that it's a good idea to introduce them to a baby walker. They needn't have taken their first solo flight (or steps!) yet but it can encourage them to rise off their haunches and prop themselves up on the handle of a sturdy wooden baby walker and get used to the feeling of walking on their little feet. In no time at all they'll be bombing around the house, seemingly tied to their favourite new push along toy. As well as being a great toy for encouraging those first steps, baby walkers are also great for storing teddies, wooden building blocks and any other toy (or family pet) that desperately needs transporting from room to room.

Baby walkers make an ideal gift for little ones aged about 18 months and upwards.
