The story of Noah and his Ark is one of the most famous and memorable parts of the Old Testament. In it, God chooses Noah and his wife to build an Ark to house pairs of all the animals in the world in preparation for a great flood – it rained for 40 days and nights and the world was flooded for a total of 150 days in a bid to cleanse the world of wickedness. The Ark finally came to rest upon Mount Ararat and Noah and his ensemble waited a further year for the earth to dry out and then they were invited by God to repopulate the earth.

John Crane Tidlo Noah’s Ark
This Noah’s Ark toy from John Crane Tidlo is more of a classic design and features a lovely Ark that rocks back and forth just like a real boat. The seven pairs of animals include giraffes, elephants, crocodiles and camels. The team is led by Noah and his wife, resplendent in their robes. The Ark features a door to allow the animals in and its top is removable to allow for easier access if required.

Le Toy Van Great Ark
This award winning Ark from Le Toy van is the Rolls Royce of our range of Noah’s Ark Toys. At over half a metre in length, it truly is great and comes with some fabulous features. There are 10 pairs of intricately detailed wooden animals which are looked after by Noah and his other half. On top of the Ark is a wooden house with lovely arched window and with its own dovecote. Underneath, the animals can enter (in pairs, obviously) via the sliding front panel or by the pull down gate on the reverse side.
