Woodvent, like Advent and the Christmas season, is a very special time of year. Woodvent is when WoodenToyShoppers across the United Kingdom gather together around their computer screens, tablets or mobile phones to take part in 12 consecutive days of fierce competition, all in good fun of course. Starting on Monday 2nd December, we will be offering everybody the opportunity to win a prize while browsing through our unrivalled selection of wooden toys. We will even give you a clue to stop you getting lost amongst our bulging virtual aisles, although you are welcome to visit and stay as long as you wish.

What is Woodvent and how does it work?
Woodvent is simply our way of having a little fun during the frantic Christmas shopping season. We love giving our customers the chance to win an extra present for that special little someone in their lives and so for 12 days from Monday 2nd December we will be launching a competition at 10am each morning which will run until 9am the following day.

At the start of each day we will nominate a section of our store to be hidden behind a window in our imaginary Woodvent Calendar. All you will need to do is guess which toy (from the nominated category) is hidden behind the window. All correct entries will be put into a hat from which the winner will be drawn the following morning. Each daily winner will receive a £25 voucher to spend in store, except on two special days when the winner will receive the toy that was hidden behind the window.
It's Really Simple

One competition per day between 2nd and 13th December.
Competition launched at 10:00am each morning.
At 10:00am we will announce the category from which that day's toy has been chosen.
Guesses must be submitted as comments underneath each day's announcement on this blog.
Competition runs until 9:00am the following morning. One daily winner will be picked at random to win a £25 voucher to spend at WoodenToyShop.co.uk
Vouchers are not transferable.
On two days selected at random, the winner will receive the toy that was behind the door.
The final day of our Woodvent competition will be Friday 13th December.
A few rules
One entry per household.
Entrants must be based in the United Kingdom.
Judges decision is final.
No cash alternative will be available for any the prizes.
