As the England cricket team toils in the desert sun, many supporters are sitting at home shivering around their radios or laptops as the UK is under the grip of a sudden cold snap. Log burners and coal fires are burning away furiously as the nation pulls on its long johns and thermal vests and an army of gritter lorries takes to the roads to ensure that those of us who have to venture out are as safe as possible in our cars. Here at WoodenToyShop headquarters, our advice to Mums and Dads is to wrap everyone up and go out to play in the garden or the park by all means, but why not stay indoors with some of our fantastic wooden toys to keep the kids occupied?
