As the England cricket team toils in the desert sun, many supporters are sitting at home shivering around their radios or laptops as the UK is under the grip of a sudden cold snap. Log burners and coal fires are burning away furiously as the nation pulls on its long johns and thermal vests and an army of gritter lorries takes to the roads to ensure that those of us who have to venture out are as safe as possible in our cars. Five Lessons from Toy Fair 2012
Well, what a day at the Toy Fair! Full marks to the British Toy and Hobby Association for putting on a thoroughly professional, exciting and energetic exhibition and full marks to the all the dedicated exhibitors whose reserves of energy would impress an Olympic marathon runner. Toy Fair 2012 Part One
Today has been a big day for WoodenToyShop. For the very first time, we are visiting the national Toy Fair at Olympia. In previous careers we weren’t so fussed on trade fairs and seminars, but now that we run our own business, today and tomorrow at the fair represent a real opportunity for us to cement relationships with our suppliers, meet potential new suppliers and most importantly of all, to get an early look at the new wooden toys that will be on offer to toyshops and ultimately to children later on this year.
