    If there is one thing every little girl should own it is a dolls house and there is no better place to start than this beautiful Fold and Go dolls house by Melissa and Doug.  My daughters, Morgan (aged 9) and Maddison (aged 3) spend hours playing with the dolls house we have and were absolutely delighted to have a new one to play with.  It comes as a whole unit so there is no need to assemble anything, just unpack the furniture and away you go!     This charming little Janod Chic Greengrocer Set comprises of a set of scales with 5 weights, 6 pieces of fruit, a cash register with removable drawer, 6 coins and a box of chalks. Pretty much everything your little greengrocer needs and all made from good sturdy wood.     I was really pleased when we were asked to review this garage.  I've been eyeing up a few lately for Elliott as he has quite a collection of vehicles now and nowhere to take them.  We did have a cheap flimsy plastic version which I detest as it comes apart during every use with the slightest pressure, and I get shouts of "Mum!!     There was much excitement in our house when I got back from the Post Office with a big and heavy parcel containing the Melissa & Doug Workbench. My eldest daughter (aged 4) was keen to start building straight away, so we found a (real!) screwdriver and put it together. It really is a beautifully made and high quality toy and it feels a lot better built than many pieces of flat-packed furniture I have owned! The assembly instructions were clear and all the pieces were well labelled, so it was pretty straightforward to put together. An hour later and it was done and we felt weʼd earned our first “builderʼs break” of a cuppa and a chocolate biscuit.  Continue reading
