There is even a knock-out wall for enacting battles and giving successful invaders an alternative route into the castle. Ladders and running boards also add to the excitement, as does the dragon motif which features on two flags, the castle wall and the drawbridge.
The Budkins Three Wishes Castle has a beautiful walled garden with a working drawbridge. The castle has a dungeon on one side of the central tower (large yellow doors open into the main hall) and stables on the other. A rope ladder is all a brave knight needs to rescue any damsels stuck in the tower. This is a charming wooden toy that will inspire many hours of imaginative play.

Bigjigs Princess Palace is a fabulous alternative to traditional toy castles. This gorgeous fairy tale castle is painted in gentle pinks and blues and has a trailing flower motif throughout.
