Every Wednesday our thoughts turn to our latest competition and whether we should give away one of our wonderful wooden toys. Will it be a Le Toy Van week or should we offer something from Janod or Bigjigs? We often get carried away arguing about what to offer, but we generally settle on letting our prize winners choose their own prize by giving away a voucher.
Today is no different folks. We have debated offering a toy farm, a balance bike or a train set, but common sense has won again and this week’s Wooden Wednesday prize is a £50 voucher to spend at your convenience on a toy of your choice at WoodenToyShop. This brilliant prize can be won, once again, by guessing the combined total of the spots when Rob rolls 5 dice. We would also like you to tell us, at the same time, what you would spend your prize on. So have a good look through our selection of toys and tell us which one tickles your fancy.
Competition Rules
All entries must be placed as a comment below this blog article.
One entry per UK household.
All entries must be placed by 9:00am on Thursday 18th April.
In the event of a tie, a winner will be drawn at random from a hat by a member of our team. Your name will be put in the hat only if you have guessed correctly AND told us which toy you would buy with your prize.
The result will be announced on this blog shortly after entries close. The judge’s decision is final.
Please note: each entry has to be approved before it is uploaded to this page. There may be a delay before you can see your entry.
Result
Five people guessed correctly that Rob would throw 19 in total: Kate Huxtep; Pamela Hayhurst; Perdita; Julie Perry; and Anna Hibbert.
Congratulations to Anna Hibbert whose name was pulled out of the hat. Anna wins this week’s £50 voucher to spend at WoodenToyShop. Anna indicated that she would buy a dolls’ house and some furniture if she won.
Commiserations to everyone else and thank you all for entering. We’ll host another competition here on the blog next Wednesday.
