Melissa and Doug Deluxe Easel

We ordered this product for our 4 year old grand daughter and was delivered without any problems which was helped by the delivery tracking system. Whilst she is fairly tall for her age, fully extended the easel is the correct height for her at age 4, in a year she may either grow out of it or she will have to sit down. I do wish the two boards were more substantial and they seem to be bowed not helping with alignment but all fairly easy to assemble, however rather too many pieces, in my ignorance I thought that at least 50% assembly would have taken place prior to delivery. Extensive assembly often appears to be the trend these days necessitating spending too much of Xmas or birthday assembling. In this instance and in hind sight we should have opened the box and assembled well before the birthday party. On the upside she is however thoroughly enjoying her painting.

Our kids 2 and 4 spend ages with this. It is well made and folds down for storage although the trays still stick out. It is well designed with everything where the chidren can reach them and good for storing all the gubbins that goes with it. Although the measurements are clearly set out the size of it still shocked me when we got it out of the box it does take up quite a lot of room in our house but they use it most days. Haven't given it the full 5* because would have thought for the money that it would have come with a few accessories such as a roll of paper or some pens but we had to buy them seperately. It was really easy to put together.

The easel is fabulous. I bought it for my two boys aged 2 and 4. Both love it. The only thing I would warn you about is if you want 24 hour delivery (like I did) for which you pay extra, you must make sure that there is someone to sign for it. The delivery is done by parcelforce which will not leave it at the property unless someone signs for it. This is a pain if you work full time and need it for your child's birthday. Ignoring delivery, the easel is well worth it.

We really could not make our minds up between all the lovely childrens easels you have but plumped for this one. It wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive. We are really happy with it. At the lowest setting it's now perfect for our son but it can be made higher so it's going to last a long time which makes it an excellent long term purchase, especially as so many of his toys only seem to last 5 minutes. The paper roll is great and makes for instant art on the kitchen walls - we bought the easel accessory set too which not only includes the paints and brushes but also an extra paper roll so this was brilliant. The white board is magnetic so the letters and numbers my son got for his birthday can be used on this too. All in all a wonderful easel and we're chuffed to bits.

This is simply the best easel we've seen - our children use much flimsier ones at their nursery and this one is really well built. It folds up flat so we can tuck it behind the sofa for storage. The paper roll is fantastic, you can paint and have it hanging on the wall in minutes. The paper comes with it but get an extra roll or two as it soon runs out. We got this a little late as for some reason the courier company didn;t recognise our address. Anyway, i can't thank you enough for sorting it out, especially at 8 o clock in the evening! The easel is just lovely and Ella loves it. She was thrilled when she opened it on her birthday and it is toy numero uno in our house. We were really surprised how easy it was to put the easel together (it looked daunting, but really wasn't). The height is adjustable so it grows with your child. The whole easel feels like it is really sturdy and incredibly good quality. My little girl loves to keep her paints and crayons in the plastic trays at the front. The easel is a little bulky but at least it does fold a little flatter. The best bit is the roll bar to which you can attach a roll of paper - a never-ending supply for when the creative inspirating takes over.
